Ethical Concerns
We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, accountability, and ethical conduct. If you have concerns about potential misconduct, violations of our policies, or unethical behavior by our members, we encourage you to report them promptly to our Ethics Committee. This committee is under NDA, and will discuss the matter confidentially.
How to Report a Concern
If you are comfortable with the ethics committee knowing your identity, and wish to report openly, you may submit your concern via email to ethics@tamac.ca
Reporting Anonymously
If you prefer to remain anonymous, you may do so. While anonymous reports may limit our ability to follow up, all concerns are taken seriously and will be reviewed carefully.
One way to submit an anonymous report is by using a privacy-focused email service such as Proton Mail.
Steps to Submit an Anonymous Report Using Proton Mail
1. Visit the Proton Mail website and create a free email account.
2. Choose a username that does not include your name or identifying information.
3. Do not link your account to a personal recovery email or phone number.
4. Once your account is created, compose a new email to ethics@tamac.ca
5. Include details of your concern, avoiding any information that could identify you if you wish to remain anonymous.
For additional privacy, you may choose to access Proton Mail using a private browser.
Confidentiality and Non-Retaliation
All reports will be handled as confidentially as possible. We strictly prohibit retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith, whether the report is made openly or anonymously.
What Happens Next
• Your report will be reviewed by the Ethics Committee.
• Appropriate steps will be taken to assess and investigate the concern.
If you are unsure whether a situation should be reported, we encourage you to err on the side of speaking up. Reporting concerns helps us maintain a safe, respectful, and ethical environment for everyone.
